Chennai based Pharmaceutical firm Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals has received nod from the US health regulator US Food and Drug Administrtion for generic anti-bacterial Gemifloxacin Mesylate tablets.
The company has received approval for its abbreviated new drug Application in the strength of 320 mg. The approval is with 180 days of generic drug exclusivity.
